Is an artist that presents a quality and performance excellence then Kaos born Mikeal D. Smith’s sole purpose in the industry of music is to produce great music. The journey begins in a small town in Illinois. He was destined to make his sound uniquely his own rapping with the neighborhood artist he soon discovered that he wanted more out of this industry. He jumped on a serious path to become a professional recording artist. Writing & Producing and having the opportunity to develop his creative skills took him to a bigger city and greater opportunity. During the path transition positivity turned unsuccessful and running the streets with (gangs) and selling drugs was clearly not positioning him for the greater good of his self or his career he realized the ultimate outcome from this would result to potential time in the penitentiary or death, so K black aka kaos vowed to give more energy and more appreciation to his craft and his rise to fame began with a one single song entitled “it’s on like this” of which later in 1998 led to a full studio album entitled “Hustler’s Convention” on dibomb records. He went on to record several project including ‘MULTIPLICITY’ and ‘REALITY CHECK’ also writing and producing for other artist in the industry as well. In 2008 K-Black started platinum boye muzik with business partner Ronald “thoroughbred redd”Jackson which is a platform to expose up & coming talent k black also made a big move by signing his self to the label he started and released a full length project entitled “TRUNK MUZIK” which gained him high acclaim success within the underground level as well as the internet community with a video from the project Trunk muzik went on to sell 20,000 downloads and physical copies and acquired a substantial amount of buzz. K-Black was selected as artist of the month in grind magazine propelling him a write-up with Murder Dog magazine. In addition; his single “GET UP WIT U” from the TRUNK MUZIK project was featured on an episode of MTV’s Sweet 16.In 2012 k- black joined the super group “THE DICTATORS “which is made up of other solo artist in a effort to expose their talents to a bigger audience and is said to be in works of securing a major group deal and management from a notable entertainment manager. K black currently dropped his first single ‘THE SHOWSTOPPER’ with a video to the single off his upcoming e.p.“TRUNK MUZIK PT. 2 which is rising on the underground fast and is set to be released in 2013 on his label platinum boye muzik and a full length album released later in the year.
